Round 7 Teesside - Registration open

Everything you need to know to race in Teesside

Our last Round at Oliver's Mount proved to be hugely enjoyable for all concerned and we received many compliments on the meeting. None of it could have been achieved without the incredibly hard work put in by a lot of people in the weeks and days before with riders and officials giving up their free time to help build the course under the guidance of Mr. Dirt, Chris Walker. Paul Rhodes also needs a big shout out for sponsoring the event and organising transport so we could get proper machinery in to build the off road. We must also thank Andy & Wendy Hayes at Oliver’s Mount for letting us loose on their sacred ground, nothing was too much trouble for them. We now have a vision for Oliver's Mount that will only grow in stature, and we have some exciting ideas for 2025 so watch this space.

We now move on to Teesside and Mr. Dirt is already clearing and refining the excellent dirt section to make it smoother, wider, faster & safer which will make this excellent venue even better.

OFFICIAL TEST DAY INCLUDING SESSIONS WITH DIRT

We will be running an official NoraSport Test day on Friday 27th September from 10am to 17.30, and for the first time this will have both all tarmac and tarmac & dirt sessions, open to Solos Superlites & Minibikes. The entry link below has online booking for the Test day with the cost at only £75 for the day. Please pre-book online For any extra info reply to this email.

ENTRY LINK

Use the Official online entry system by following this link -> https://nora92.com/event/norasport-bssc-championship-724/ Remember as always you can pay cash on the day but you need to use the £15 event registration fee if you are doing this which will be deducted from the entry fee and will avoid the pay on the day extra charge.

TIMETABLES

Timetables for both days are attached as PDF’s, to save paper please download onto your personal devices. Please note this is a Superlite Double header with full championship races on both days. We will also be running Bambino sessions on both days so if you have a young child that you want to gain on-track experience register them for the Bambino class online, using the link above.

JOKERS

With only two championship rounds left if you haven’t played your Joker for double championship points you need to be thinking about it as the Jokers are not automatically added, you have to request them to be played by 7pm the day before the meeting.

HAND PROTECTION

As Supermoto includes high speeds on tarmac then the level of required protective clothing has always reflected this. Our insurers have asked us to reiterate the following rules from our Technical Regulations which must be adhered to - Competitors must wear suitable leather/Kevlar race gloves of high quality; gloves must cover the gap at the wrist. Fabric short Moto-X gloves are not permitted.

NEW PHOTOGRAPHER

There was a new photographer to Supermoto at Oliver’s Mount, Zoe Cooper who really enjoyed the day and wanted to share her amazing photographs with you all. Check out her work here https://zoecooperphotographywhitby.pic-time.com/-oliversmountbssc

CADWELL KING OF THE MOUNTAIN

This meeting is now booked and deposits paid. It will take place Sunday 3rd November and entry links will be emailed and posted on the Website next week. We will be limiting entries to give everyone good track time so it will be first come first served for Superlites, Solos & Mini Bikes. Don’t miss out on a fantastic way to end the season.

Best wishes and look forward to seeing you
